he can walk!!! well walking might be a bit of an exaggeration. he is allowed to fuddle around the house, but has to stay on the crutches for distances. after two weeks he gets to toss the crutches. after a month, he gets a small boot. but, he was ecstatic to be able to get a cup a tea and bring it up to bed :)
